Striving to Set the Standard for Accountability and Transparency

Mac is governed by an 25-member Board of Directors from different us states leading nonprofits, organizations, educational institutions, businesses. The Board of Directors sets the goals and policies relating to The Mac mission of Empower Moroccan Americans to achieve their full potential and establish a platform through which they can leverage their collective assets for the benefit of their communities at large. The entire Board and/or its various subset committees, set policies relating to operational spending and grant making, management, investment and governance. The Directors also worked with the Mac’s staff to craft the organization’s code of ethics and managed the internal/external audit processes – which help to ensure a greater transparency and accountability of The Moroccan American Coalition.
